Wauconda Farmers Market

You may have met Michael at our Farmers' Market a few times. He is working on a project with FBLA. His mission is to involve Wauconda youth and residents in hands-on sustainability projects that benefit the local community.
To ensure his efforts reflect the priorities of Wauconda residents, he is conducting a brief community survey. The purpose is to gather insight on which environmental programs residents would most like to see, such as community clean-ups, recycling drives, business sustainability partnerships, native planting, or education workshops.

Since there is no market today we thought we would show a few pics of the last day at the market and give a shout out to our sponsors! We had a great market season due to our amazing vendors and the weather certainly cooperated too. Mark your calendars for next year. Even though the fire vs. police rivalry runs deep, I proudly stand by my brothers and sisters in blue—especially those protecting us right here in Wauconda.

To all my fellow first responders: I know firsthand how draining it can be going from call to call, the long shifts, and the moments when you don’t even get a chance to breathe. Please know that if you ever see us out serving taquitos, our spot is more than just food—it’s a place of refuge. A place to pause, refuel, and gather yourself before heading back out.

Our last market is this Thursday and it will sure be a doozy! We have pumpkin painting for the kiddos, we'll be celebrating our sponsor Threads Boutique on Main 12th Anniversary, and FD Taquitos is in the house! Let's try and sell out all of our vendors!
