Here is Ted with Thomas Hickey from UW-Madison setting up our weather station, tomato trial plots and spore catcher for a three year trial we are doing with Purdue and UW on tomato disease. If you see me out in the field with a backpack sprayer just know I am just spraying biologicals for this trial (or beneficial nematodes for our own trial of foliage application of beneficial nematodes to combat onion thrips). Farming is a series of lots and lots of trials and experiments and while we’re always trying new things we love a replicated trial and collaborations so we have data to base future decisions on!
