After a few non-severe storms this morning, attention turns to the potential for storms this afternoon and evening (after 3pm) as well as Friday afternoon and evening. The primary hazards are damaging winds and large hail, though a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.. Aside from strong to severe storm potential, some water issues may be seen as well, including river flooding and localized flash and areal flooding.
