🇺🇸 LABOR DAY WEEKEND AT UNION MARKET! 🍑🌽🍅

Labor Day weekend is here, and Union Market needs to be on your list! This is honestly one of my favorite times of the year. We’re right in that sweet spot of late summer when the produce is just hard to beat.

🍑 Peaches are at their peak
🌽 Corn is about as sweet as it gets
🍅 Tomatoes are big, juicy, and full of flavor
🍉 And you know we’ll have plenty of watermelons ready for the weekend!

Our bakers will be in full swing with plenty of fresh-baked goodies, and we’ll be loaded up with fresh local meats from our farmers at Rocky River Farms and Keziah Farms, plus fresh sausages from Carolina Beer & Butcher and plenty more.

We’ll also have all the prepared foods, sides, dinner ideas, local favorites, and everything else you expect to find at Union Market.

And it’s hot outside (like you haven’t noticed) Grab an ice-cold slushy and a watermelon and call it a pretty good Labor Day weekend. 😎🍉

Our Wednesday market is one of my favorite of the week and today is great day to be here! Heirlooms are in fresh, our local bakers are delivering including Anna Hit Bakery, blackberries & peaches are at their absolute peak and all our daily products are fully stocked! These blackberries have been SO GOOD this year that you guys keep buying us out!

After an urgent run up to K**b Creek yesterday afternoon and a few strings pulled we’ve got the problem solved. We’re sitting pretty for Sunday Market with a BIG load of these beauties.

Seriously, if you don’t go home with these blackberries, you’re making a mistake.

Sunday Market is looking GREAT. We are absolutely loaded with fresh product, prepared goodies, and everything you need for a fabulous Sunday and a great start to the week.

Last weekend before Union County Schools head back! Come stock up, enjoy some of the best stuff of the summer, and get the kiddos off to a good start next week.

🫐 Blackberries — limited amount this weekend, but the quality is amazing. Big, beautiful NC berries that were just picked.

🫛 Shelled butter beans are back!

🍑 Peaches — these are absolutely PEAK right now. They’re coming from the same NC grower as the blackberries and they are sweet, juicy and full freestone. This is the weekend for peaches.

🌽 Pennsylvania sweet corn — really, really good right now. Big ears, sweet and fresh. Definitely grab some for the weekend.

🍉 Yellow Belly watermelons are BACK, along with plenty of other great melons.

🍈 Cantaloupes — don’t skip these! We have some fantastic cantaloupes right now. Sweet, ripe and great for breakfast or the kids next week.

🍅 Heirlooms & Tomatoes — Farmer Dale’s beautiful mountain-grown heirlooms are here along with plenty of other tomatoes. Summer tomato season is still going strong.

🥖 Fresh bread & baked goods — our bakers have delivered, including Duke’s, Millet’s, Chef Hunter and Yaz Best. Peach bread, banana bread and plenty of other goodies.

🥘 Prepared foods & dinner — lots of easy dinner ideas in the coolers. Definitely don’t forget the Chicken Pot Pies from Pies & Sides for the first busy week back at school.

🔥 Meat & chicken — Keziah Farms and Rocky River have us stocked with some really nice cuts for the grill and plenty of chicken.

We’ve got a lot of really good stuff right now, peaches, corn, melons, tomatoes, breads, meats and prepared foods. It’s one of those weekends you want to come check it out.
