After 25 Wonderful Years, It’s Time to Say Goodbye

After nearly 25 years of serving Wayland and the surrounding communities, the Crawford Meat Plant is closing this chapter as Danny Crawford steps into retirement. It has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our farmers, customers, and the community who trusted us with their custom butchering needs.

We also want to express heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, whose hard work and commitment made the Crawford Meat Plant more than a business—it became a family. Your passion and excellence helped us fulfill our dream of supporting local farmers and providing quality service.

As we turn the page, we are pleased to share that C & M Meat Plant will be continuing the tradition of serving the community. We extend our best wishes to the new owners as they embark on this exciting journey.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of this incredible chapter. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the future to come!

Celebrate National Pork month with us! 🐖 Crawford Meat Plant, Inc.. and Eichelberger Farms are teaming up, once again!

Eichelberger Farms will donate 1 hog that will be split between 2 winners, and Crawford Meat Plant will provide simple processing free of charge. Two lucky winners🍀will be selected the first week in November. Winners will be notified through Facebook and will need to pick up their meat in person at the Crawford Meat Plant in Wayland, Iowa when ready.
