Some recipes don’t just preserve food… they preserve memories of home. 💚🇵🇭

Making papaya pickles today, and it brings me right back to my childhood. Growing up, papaya would grow almost wild in our backyard—we didn’t have to think twice about it. 🌿

Now living here, growing papaya isn’t quite as easy, so making these pickles feels extra special. Every slice reminds me of home, simpler days, and the flavors I grew up with. 🫙💛

Sometimes you may live far from where you started, but one familiar taste can bring your heart right back home.
