Christopher Farms is still looking for the right person to join our team part-time!
We have a great group of people, a wonderful work environment and we’re looking for someone who will be a great long-term fit with our team.
This is not just a cashier position. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people and customer service, but who also doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and staying busy.
A typical day includes helping customers, running our old-school register, stocking and rotating produce, packaging products, cleaning, carrying boxes, and jumping in wherever something needs to be done.
The person we’re looking for:
📌Is friendly, outgoing and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers
📌Is a self-starter who can see what needs to be done and do it without constantly being directed.
📌Is dependable and takes pride in their work.
📌Is comfortable learning and memorizing products and prices. Our register is old school and produce prices are memorized.
📌Can repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
📌Can safely carry large/heavy boxes down stairs.
📌Can comfortably be on their feet for the entire shift.
📌Is looking for a long-term position, not seasonal work.
📌Can provide a 3-year work history along with supervisor contact information.
Previous produce, grocery store or similar experience would be a huge plus, but we are absolutely willing to train the right candidate.
Starting pay with no experience is $15/hour, with the potential for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience.
Ideal weekly schedule:
Thursday • 9:15–5:15
Friday • 9:15–5:15
Saturday • 8:00–2:00
There may be some flexibility with these hours. We’d also love someone who is willing to occasionally pick up an additional day when needed.
Christopher Farms is open year-round, and this is a permanent part-time position, not a seasonal position.
