Do you know exactly how many lymph nodes are in a whitetail deer? Neither do we—and according to scientists, nobody knows exactly, because the number varies from deer to deer. What we do know at Ruger’s Wild Game LLC is exactly where they like to hide, and we remove every single one from every deer.
You can be confident that your venison packages will be made with only quality cuts—free of lymph nodes, fat, and silver skin. Every quarter, and every piece of meat in between, is carefully examined and separated by muscle groups to ensure that shot-damaged meat, silver skin, fat, and lymph nodes are removed. We take the time to make sure every piece of meat—whether it’s destined for the grinder or cut into steaks—is something we would proudly serve to our own families.
All processing equipment is thoroughly washed and sanitized after every deer to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination.
You’ve invested a lot of time and money into your hunt. You carefully field dressed your deer and cooled it down quickly after the shot. We honor that effort. At Ruger’s Wild Game LLC, your harvest is never frozen, thawed, and refrozen. We only accept the number of deer we can properly process each week. Every deer is tagged with a unique number, and that number stays with your meat throughout the entire process to ensure you always get your own deer back.
All cuts are vacuum-sealed to protect your harvest from freezer burn. When you open a package of meat processed by Ruger’s Wild Game LLC, you can trust it will be as fresh as possible—ready for the grill, skillet, crockpot, or however you choose to enjoy your harvest.
We want to thank our continued customers and appreciate your business!!
