Finished round one of planting on Garden 2026.
Yesterday I set out Early Girl and Red Beefsteak Maters, Bell Peppers, romaine lettuce and green onion sets.
Back on March 13th I set out cabbage and planted four rows of G90 sweet corn. The corn started coming up yesterday.
Today, I did two hills/tires of taters, some watermelons, okra, yellow squash, scallop squash, red and white radishes, bush beans, cucumbers, carrots and red onions.
Going to do more sweet corn in a few days. Will add more maters in a week or two.
Wendy Sitzer wouldn't come out and help cuz she said she doesn't have a green thumb... Lol.

Today I set out some okra plants and planted some yellow squash and radishes. Weeded around the maters, bell peppers and cucumbers. The cucumbers are starting to put on finally. After 28 inches of rain over two months, we are now approaching drought conditions... Feast or famine !!

Sunday, 11 am. My cucumbers are finally putting on enough to have some extra. Not many but come help yourself. If you have surplus vegetables, please put them in the box so others can enjoy them and they won't go to waste. Thanks.
