Just a quick little harvest from my jalapeño plant… and, of course, Mickey Blue Eyes had to make an appearance and supervise the whole operation. 🌶️🐾

She seems to think every task at Reeds Groves requires her direct involvement. 😂

Y’all saw us pack it all away last night, now come set it back up with us this morning 😅

Running a produce stand means every day starts with unloading baskets, filling tables, checking produce, and getting everything ready before you walk through the door. It’s not fancy, but it’s honest work, and we’re grateful for every single person who stops by.

Now let’s get these tables filled and make it a great day! 🌞🍉🍅

Come pack up with us! 🌽🍑🍅

One question I get asked a lot is how we keep everything fresh in this Florida heat.

At the end of each day, almost all of our produce gets brought inside and stored in our cool room overnight. It’s not a giant commercial refrigerator… it’s simply a room kept at a comfortable temperature with an AC unit. That cooler environment gives the fruits and vegetables a chance to rest and recover from spending all day out on the table.

Of course, some items have different storage needs, but for most of our produce, this little room works wonders!

Tomorrow morning we’ll drag it all back out, Mickey will supervise, and we’ll do it all over again 😂❤️

You guys completely SOLD ME OUT of my Peach Pie Cream Bars yesterday, so of course I had to get back in the kitchen and make a brand-new hankering for today and tomorrow!

🍋🧁 Introducing: KEY LIME CUPCAKES! 🧁🍋

A soft vanilla cupcake filled with a bright, zesty key lime curd, topped with a tangy lime cream cheese frosting and finished with a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs. They’re fresh, citrusy, a little tangy, perfectly sweet, and absolutely delicious!

🌞 IT’S HANKERING DAY, YOU GUYS! 🌞

And today, boy do I have a treat for you!

Imagine a peach pie and a peach crumble had a baby… 🍑✨

Today’s hankering is these incredible Peach Pie Crumb Bars made with juicy fresh South Carolina peaches, a buttery brown sugar oat crust, a crumbly streusel topping loaded with oats and almonds, and finished with a sweet vanilla bean icing.

It is truly the epitome of summer in a dessert. ☀️🍑
