Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide an opportunity for the community to purchase locally produced goods, while providing a fun,vibrant, community shopping experience. Vendor Guidelines:
1. A
ll items sold by a vendor must be produced by the vendor or a member of the vendor's household.
2. All produce sold at the Market must have been grown within a 75 mile radius of Wellington.
3. Vendors must check in at least 15 minutes before the opening of the Market, and be set up by opening time.
4. No sales may be made before the start of the Market. This includes allowing a customer to select items and setting them aside to complete the transaction after starting time. It is not fair to customers who come at the start of the Market to find that some of the product has already been “picked over” by early birds.
5. Any pesticides used in growing produce must be used in accordance with labeled directions.
6. Jams and jellies are permitted, however Kansas does not permit other home-canned products to be sold. This includes salsas and pickles.
7. Farm-fresh eggs may be sold, provided they are maintained below 45 degrees F. If packaged in re-used cartons, old information must be marked out.
8. No smoking will be permitted in the market area.

10. Vendors must stay the entire time the Market is open, unless they have sold out of their product. It's not fair to customers who cannot come for the first hour of the Market to arrive and find vendors have already packed up and gone home. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for inclement weather. Vendors are encouraged to set up an awning or canopy over their table. This will provide shade on sunny days and protection against light rain.
11. All vendors will be provided identification signs, which must be displayed at their booths. This allows shoppers to know who you are.
12. Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws.
