🎉 We have a WINNER! Our giant tomato officially weighed 1 lb 7.04 oz (1.44 pounds).

We’ve got a monster tomato here, and we want YOU to guess how much it weighs!

The person who guesses closest to the actual weight wins a 20 lb box of fresh tomatoes, or a $40 gift certificate to Malone's Farm.
Perfect if you want to make a massive batch of homemade salsa, do some canning, freeze them for winter, or just share the bounty with your neighbors.

High tunnel vs. Hothouse: What's the difference? 🤔

A lot of people call these greenhouses, but they are actually high tunnels! Unlike a fully climate controlled hothouse, there are no automated heaters or cooling fans in here. We plant these tomatoes directly into our natural farm soil and control the temperature manually by rolling the plastic sides up or down to catch the breeze.

Think of it as a giant shield. It keeps the heavy rains and wind off the plants, which keeps the leaves dry and prevents disease naturally. 🍅✨

That extra protection is the exact reason these tomatoes are growing so sweet, clean, and perfectly ripe. Come grab some at the stand this weekend and taste the difference!
