Open the first Saturday in May until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There are 4 families that still live on the farm land.

Grandpa's Place has been going to West Allis Farmer's Market since 1931, 91 years. There are 6 Generations that have contributed to the produce and fruit we bring to market.

Hello everyone ! Looks like another warm and dry weekend
We will have Morning Glory vines, Swedish Ivy , several types of houseplants including Spider plants, Red or Green Wandering Jews, and Pink Bubblegum plants. Fresh picked Asparagus and Rhubarb. Basil plants for your garden or windowsill. Some beautiful Leaf Lettuce and Spinach planters. We will also have some mixed planters for shady areas outdoors, or low light areas indoors. Come check them out.
Market opens at 1 PM, hope to see you there, and THANK YOU for your continued support ! 🙂

This will be our last market of the season. My niece, who owns CE Farms, took over operation of the orchards in 2025, and will be taking our stalls at the market for the remainder of the season. She has an awesome variety of fruits, vegetables, apples and pears. Please give her and her family the same wondeful support you have given to us at Grandpa's Place for all these years !

Good afternoon everyone ! Happy to announce that we will be starting our market season tomorrow morning, May 2nd.

We will have 2 types of morning glory vines, and several types of house plants including spider plants wandering jews, and pink bubblegum plants. We will also have fresh picked rhubarb, and some lettuce and spinach planters

Sunflowers - Feed the birds or squirrels a nice little treat

Fairy Tale Eggplant - can be stuffed or roasted or grilled, yum!

Sweet Green Peppers - sweet and tasty; use for stuffed

Shish*to Peppers - mild heat; deep fry and eat with an aioli dip

Jalapeno Peppers - spicy; make some poppers or salsa

Serrano Peppers - very spicy; use in fresh pico de gallo or salsa

Scotch Bonnet - used in Jamican cooking, can substitute for
habanero peppers
