Hi friends! It is with a very heavy heart to announce that I’ve made the difficult decision to officially close the doors of Candi Cakes. It’s been 8 1/2 wonderful years of “caking” & I am so grateful for the amazing people I’ve met & all of the beautiful creations I’ve made for you along the way. It’s been pretty cool to indirectly be a part of your special celebrations through the years.

In June 2010 I made my first cake; for my Gran’s 80th Birthday & in January 2019 I made my last; for my big brother’s 40th Birthday. I’ve ironically started & ended this journey with cakes for 2 of the most important people in my life.

It hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but it’s the best one for me at this time in my life. Thank you all so much for your support over the years 💚

Hi everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying your summer! I wanted to share an important update with you. I am putting Candi Cakes operations ON HOLD & will not be taking any orders from August 2018 through January 2019. If you’ve already booked something with me, you’re fine — just no ‘new’ orders are being accepted. I am getting married in December & will be honeymooning in January. With all the planning to be done the next few months, I just don’t have the time I’d need to fully devote to Candi Cakes. I’ll be back in 2019!! Many thanks for your understanding!! Much love to you all!! 💚

I am a Sugar Angel with Icing Smiles, Inc. They are a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. I recently responded to a NY “Call to Action” for a birthday cake for Matthew, a 14 year old boy battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. When chatting with Matthew’s Mom, I learned that his Grandma was battling breast cancer. So this weekend, his family surprised Matthew with a Fortnite Battle Royale custom cake & his Grandma with a bouquet of cannoli cream filled cupcake roses in her favorite color💜

Matthew’s Mom sent me this awesome photo of him with his cake! The smile on his face says it all! Happy Birthday, Matthew!! 💙🖤💚
