The Spooky Season is upon us..

Now that we are into August we will be gearing up for Bumpkins Halloween and will be officially on the look out for volunteers as we post the nights we will be working on things. In August we will be building stuff and making stuff in the garage.

Once Sept rolls around we will start to build scenes to get them up.

Later this week we will have our current 2026 updated list of sponsors..

We will also be posting a materials list for folks if they want to donate.

Although we raise money to cover the main event day I personally fund much of this Halloween event so it's crucial if we can get materials and recycle stuff donated..

Employment opportunity.

We are looking to add a part time employee to our staff.

15 to 25 hours a week. Starting pay $17.00 a hour

Nights and Weekends are a must.

Mostly store work. Cashier, cooking, cleaning, packaging.

During busy season there is opportunity for more hours in the meat plant.

We will be looking over applicants that applied previously and collecting new ones.

Our thoughts are with Morrisonville Septic LLC this morning.

Our family knows fires all too well. Our store of 46 years burned in 2008 and my home burned in 2017. There really isn't much worse than going through a fire and all the stress that comes in the aftermath.

Attention Hunters..

We are still plucking away on our Venison list but as we continue to mention we are farther behind then normal as our small business has suffered many blows with staffing.

We know many are patiently waiting and some don't understand why we are behind. However we are working on it weekly with the small staff we have.

We wear many hats and have had too over the years to keep our doors open. Diversity has always been our key but it comes as a double edge sword for sure...
