Hello Queens Farm Community,

It has been a month since the fire, and as we're struggling to maintain normal operations and rebuild, we're realizing that we need your help.

This fire destroyed supplies and equipment, left the farm without water, electricity, and storage, and obliterated our heirloom seed supply. Our mushroom growing facility is completely gone. Those of you visiting our stand at farmer's markets will have noticed the decrease in supply and variety in our produce in the past weeks. Our sales are down by 60% and are unlikely to recover until 2022 when the house is fully rebuilt.

It's not easy for us to ask, but if you've felt moved to give during this time, we've set up a GoFundMe and would be grateful for your generosity.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us through this crisis. We hope to be able to continue bringing you all sorts of chemical free produce in the years to come.

As some of you may have heard, we sustained a fire at the farm on 08/20/21. Thankfully, the entire family is safe (even the cats!) but the house is severely damaged and uninhabitable. We are grateful to the local fire departments and Red Cross, our insurance company, and the outpouring of support from the local community we've received. Please know that we are housed and fed and safe at this time.

We are trying to maintain farm operations as close to normally as possible despite the current commute, and ask that you be patient with us as we work out some kinks to continue to supply you with the locally grown chemical free produce we've become known for over the years.

Thank you for your continued support of Queens Farm, and come see us at the West Chester Growers Market and Headhouse Square Farmer's Market. We will be there, and so will the tomatoes :)
