My granddaughter (aka Betsy’s daughter) is headed to the Indiana state final golf tournament! We are so excited for her!! She made it by sheer grit and determination thru the regional round and made a much more impressive play than her score showed. (Listen here to know how) But it worked and we are all so proud of her for her effort. After having shot even par in her practice round, she was frustrated by a few stumbles that day. But after all the coaching from her Grandpa/Coach Brian Henke, She was a focused beast!!

This is us, 10 minutes before the first wave of these recent storms in southeast Indiana.

We were out saving our most prized crop. (Our lisianthus)

I’d like to report, after such a crazy week, this is still us.
Still standing, still smiling and still making it happen together. Just like our crops, we’re built to ride out the storms together.

Nothing’s ever perfect after weather events such as the ones we just endured. But just like life, when rainfall is measured in very high numbers, it’s the support system that pulls you through.

So even though we will be busy cleaning out some damages over the next week, it’s the support systems we have in place that give us the ability to ride out the storms.

And we hope your systems have you safely propped up too. 😉
