BOTH KRAFTY'S & OKOBOJI GAS CO. ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

Parking will have to be on the grass if you zoom in the photo, you can park on the grass right where my pickup and trailer are, my pickup won't be there tomorrow so you may park there.
👉You may walk on the recently sealed parking lot. It's dried enough to walk on but not drive just yet.

LORNE AND MYSELF WILL ASSESS THE PARKING LOT BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON TO SEE IF ITS CURED ENOUGH TO DRIVE ON. PLEASE STAY OFF UNTIL ANOTHER POST IS PUT OUT.

‼️ENTER OUR PROPERTY WITH CAUTION AS THERE IS ONLY ONE LANE IN AND OUT ‼️ or USE THE NORTH DRIVE, Yes we know it's bumpy and yes we are going to work on that next after the resealer, stay to the edges of the driveway on the North end and you'll be just fine.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and we appreciate your business! There is over $100,000 of asphalt there that we have to take care of and reseal, We have to protect it and the weather is on our side to get it done ourselves. So please be patient with us as we are doing it ourselves to save some money!

Our landlord and ourselves will be in the process of resealing the parking lot, please have patience and please follow the cones and stay updated to our page.
👉We are going to reseal Krafty's parking lot and half the driveway in the first stage, we will open it up in 24 hours,
👉 second stage. Will be the other half of the driveway up to the left side of the pumps
👉third stage will be shutting down the north driveway and resealing north of the pumps.

This product is amazing to go with a surf and turf meal, or just to have it as an appetizer! It tastes just like Rice-A-Roni with a little bit of shrimp on top. You can do this on the grill or in the oven!

Thoughts and a timeline on the day of a life of a business owner.

Here we go!

As I wake up and take a shower, I get out of the shower and my wife is talking about Nystrom Orchard and how the Farmers Market in the Park is cancelled due to weather! I am still half asleep and look at my wife and say. Wait, what the heck is going on? She repeated herself (she has to do that often for me as my head is geared in a way of a businessmen preparing for what we all have to do today to get ready for the day(business people, you'll understand where I'm going there)

Listen, I'm half in the buff and I scramble to get my phone that's still on the charger and call Kia Nystrom and it goes straight to VM, I call back again, she answers, she said my problems I'm not going to put it on you, I told her, Kia you are a Fellow Worthingtonian! You are more than welcome to come to our store and set up shop! I don't know what you all need but we'll figure it out. I could hear in her voice that she was taken back and a little muffled but I AM GOING TO HELP YOU OUT.

We got to work, got a few things done, my help arrived, we got situated with our stuff, explained to our team what's going on and how we are going to do it and WHAM! The day happened! Wowzers! Kia has a following that matches our following! You combine our 2 followings and you have a storm!

A storm we both weathered, TOGETHER

I just want to say when that storm approached, we handled it seemlessly! A few rocky moments and some telling customers to come in and get the front door closed to keep the cool air in(I'm a sorry if I got a little growly about that, I just don't like flies and moisture buildup on my freezer doors) I wanted to share our end of how the day went and it was nothing that we couldn't handle!

Thanks to our team(Angie and Bert) our Neighbors Gary Gould and Donna! The Reitz gals for helping getting Kia unloaded and getting my my wife and I drinks to get hydrated for the day With SBL Nutrition! You are all amazing to make that day work like it did!

Hey all…we will be hosting Nystrom Orchard at our store for them to sell their goodies at the lakes area.

UPDATE! CHANGE OF PLANS — WE’RE HEADED TO Krafty's Meat Market!

We are reloading the trailer and heading to Krafty’s Meat Market. We hope to be set up inside and ready to go by 10 AM.

The trailer is FULL of everything we made and baked all week — sourdough, dips, fresh food and all the good stuff we were supposed to have at the market this morning.

Give Krafty’s a shout for saying YES to us on very short notice — and then COME FIND US!

Note to those planning to come to the orchard we are still open 10-5 in Worthington.
