Community, Conversation, and Country Stores

Let’s talk shop in person! We’re kicking off our fall series of Corner Store Conversations, and our next stop is the Waits River Country Store in West Topsham.Join us on Thursday, September 10, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM to meet owner-operator Heather Paye, local candidates, and community business leaders.

We are proud to host these small, nonpartisan gatherings across the state alongside the Vermont Retail and Grocers Association (VRGA) and other Meadow Hill-managed organizations.

Our goal is simple: skip the screens and bring store staff, neighbors, and leaders together for genuine, face-to-face dialogue about on-the-ground insights in our communities. Stop by, say hello, and join the conversation!

I didn’t know I needed a chocolate and strawberry soft serve twist in my life until today, but now I’m officially obsessed. 🤤🍦
It’s the perfect mix of rich chocolate fudge and sweet, fruity strawberry.
Literally a chocolate-covered strawberry in ice cream form.
If you need me for the rest of the day, I’ll be right here in a food coma.
