Starting Wage: $25.00+ per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Position Overview:
Roundup Trading Post is looking for a dependable, organized Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our general store. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping a store running smoothly, and is willing to learn and grow with our team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the general store
Lead, train, and support store staff
Schedule and delegate daily tasks to maintain an efficient workflow
Order merchandise and help maintain appropriate inventory levels
Stock shelves and create attractive product displays
Lift and move merchandise weighing 30 pounds or more
Travel occasionally to merchandise buying shows
Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive team environment
Learn and use inventory management, point-of-sale (POS), pricing, customer loyalty, and back-office computer systems
Manage store social media pages
Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked store
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Five or more years of management experience preferred, ideally in a retail setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing business needs
