We Grow LLC

We Grow LLC We Grow is a produce farm in northern Taylor County providing organic vegetables in a community supported agricultural (CSA) system.

In a CSA system, consumers pre-purchase shares of produce that will be distributed throughout the growing season. There are a variety of share options based on your needs. The pre-purchase not only allows the grower to determine how much to plant, but also provides the capital needed early in the season to get the crops in the ground. We Grow organic food for many reasons. Obviously, we are passio

nate about good food. But we also believe that food grown without pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals should be available locally and within the financial means of those who live in the area. Food grown in high intensity agriculture operations thousands of miles away is not a sustainable food distribution system. The farm to table connection benefits the consumer by providing the freshest food with the minimum carbon foot print created in transport. At We Grow, our sustainable growing techniques ensure that each year we will be able to maintain the same level of production without the input of chemicals or genetically modified seed. And when you buy from a family operation, your money stays in our area.

There is something especially meaningful about being able to take resources from right here in our own community and put them directly onto the tables of our neighbors. We are incredibly grateful to Connecting Farms to Families for making this possible, and to Nelson Berry Farm and We Grow LLC for helping us bring fresh, nutritious food to the people we serve.

Our pantry, our board, and our volunteers couldn't be more excited about the wonderful local farmers and producers who are stepping up to help nourish our community. This is exactly what happens when a community comes together. ❤️

We are proud to continue finding new ways to go above and beyond in serving Taylor County—not simply providing food, but providing fresh, nutritious and locally grown food whenever we can.
From our local farmers…to our pantry…to your family's table—this is what community looks like. 🌽🥬❤️

As you learned back in May, three young men, all Rib Lake High School students, planted 10 rows of pumpkins on a corner of our farm this season to try to earn some extra summer income. All three had other jobs and the pumpkins grew with little extra attention. The crop was a fraction of the size it could have been, but pumpkins require a lot of water. We didn’t exactly have water to spare, so the plants suffered as we experienced extreme drought conditions thru August. Nonetheless, the boys have a nice lot of pumpkins to sell. Their sale lot is located at the former C&D Lumber right next to Cenex on Kennedy St. They would greatly appreciate your pumpkin purchase this fall.

We just made a Saturday stop at the Rib Lake self-serve market stand. There are four bags of sauce tomatoes that are ripe and ready for salsa or sauce. If you want a deal, grab all four for $28. That is our 20 lb case price which is equivalent. We restocked bell peppers and jalapenos, as well as some slicing tomatoes and more basil and cilantro. We added a couple melons in the fridge too.
