The fridge was stocked up again last night. Theres split peas and ham there, would a great slow cooker meal! My phone died thanks to my kids so I didn’t take a photo!

Just stopped in to stock up the fridge with some goodies. We added some freezer meals, a pork loin, some snacks for kids with school out still.

There’s soooo many canned goods down here. Swing by and grab some good side meals for dinners!

Happy Sunday!

We stopped into the Community Fridge last night to check up on it and it’s getting low again! We’re so happy that it’s being used! 🥰

I know some people don’t have the time to stop in to donate some groceries so we have decided to do a weekly grocery haul and the community can donate money to Venmo. We are in the process of finding out how we can get a Venmo directly for this but for now we’re going to use our personal one and we will share all the funds and how much was spent weekly! If anybody has a better option definitely let us know we’re open to options but for now we’re going to give this a try!

You can donate money through the week and we’ll shop on Sundays. Any dollar amount will help the community! If you’d rather donate cash towards it we have a cash box at The Sweet Spot Eatery you can drop money in and we’ll place some envelopes in there for this money directly. Any questions please send us a message! All money donated will go directly to this fridge! 😊

Thank you to a very generous local family for stocking the fridge up with a bunch of different meats chickens, hams, tenderloins, chopped meat, pot pies, breakfast sausages, tons of frozen veggies, milk, eggs, butter, Gatorade, water, puddings, apple sauces, yogurts, tangerines, lunchables and more and then also on the shelves they put out laundry soaps, chips, cookies, crackers and other snacks.

Just an update!

We have expanded this a bit to add a cooler (donated by Darcy Martin-Rose) to keep the canned goods from freezing. All canned goods and sauces are in the cooler!
Dry stuff is still on the green rack, and even had some hygiene products on that! We took some turkeys and put them in the fridge yesterday to start to defrost, and there is still a frozen one! We have some frozen/canned veggies, some fresh as well. We are picking up a donation today and adding some stuff and will tag them in a post later!

The fridge is being used! Some of the hottest products that are flying out of there are things like milk, eggs, butter and milk! Anything you’re willing to donate is always greatly appreciated!

Get the word out, you never know who is struggling, especially this holiday season!

We made the Porcupine Soup tonight! This is super exciting and happy that the word is getting around but we want to change and give the correct recognition to the businesses that donated the fridge.

The Greenville/Westerlo Community Fridge is all stocked up!

We started this fridge to help the community in hard times. The fridge and stand is open all day every day.

Thank you to every single one of you that have taken the time to stock up the fridge and brought stuff down to help others. This is what the community is all about! We appreciate every single one of you!

Check back on this page to see any updates that we have with what’s out. We will try to update everybody as much as our weekly schedule will allow us!
