My name is Greg Corcoran and with my dad Bill Corcoran, we started The Crimson Lion Specialty Foods company in the early part of 2009. While growing up my great grandfather John Bono's who was a chef, always cooked for the family while creating several delicious dishes. After some years passed, I had lost my job in the building industry crash in 2009 so we began to follow our family's footsteps by entering the food industry. The Crimson Lion.was born, We felt there was a need for gourmet Fruit & Specialty Salsa, Jams, BBQ Sauces. We often brought our personal recipe ideas and cooking tips to Ware's 1250 AM radio during my dad's radio show called Corky & The Viking Chef. We also searched and taste-tested many different manufacturers' products and decided on the very best available. We contracted the jar products with established certified kitchens. .We also devised numerous cocktail recipes for house parties and football tailgate parties during the early 2000s when the New England area was enjoying success with its sports teams. Grandfather Bono typically added wine to his dishes and also drank a glass of wine daily until the day he passed. Again walking in family footsteps, we established our own frozen cocktail drink mixes with recipes in which cocktail drinks known as wine slushies, can be made using red wine, white wine, or various spirits, miscellaneous non-alcoholic juices. We taste-tested every cocktail flavor and developed the ultimate formula/recipe for each flavor. Each recipe s unique to the Crimson Lion. Today we have contracted with the very best certified blenders in America to blend and package our flavors. Each packaged mix provides the same consistent quality of taste, time and time again. We now have over 30 delicious flavors such as Watermelon, Peach Mango Bellini, Strawberry Daiquiri, Mojito, Raspberry, Pomegranate, Blackberry Sangria, Sea Salt Caramel Mudslide, and our newest flavor Peanut Butter Cup. Our cocktail drink mix line has increased in available flavors, to offer one the largest selections in the country. The drink mixes have also become great additions to bars, lounges, wineries, cruise ships, island resorts, etc. In March 2018 we moved our operations to a new storefront which is located in located Feeding Hills, MA. We look forward to expanding the business in three areas, Wholesale, Retail, and Fundraising in which we recently added a Fundraising Program with downloadable forms to our website: www.thecrimsonlion.net
Now that we have the new storefront, we will continue to participate in events such as Home Shows, Flower Shows, Festivals, Craft Fairs throughout the New England region. We will be able to mobilize conveniently from the store all the necessary equipment and products. We are always interested in those that desire to work at events on weekends.
