Two years and going on these chicks. Adding 6 more baby laying hens and 3 bantam silkies this year. We are also going to try our hand at breeding a few certain breeds Black Australop, Blue Australop, Delaware, Barred Bard Rocks, and Silver Laced Wyandotte. Instead of buy chicks we want to try and provide our own plus sell chicks to others. Who want to raise their own chickens. We picked the best multipurpose breeds in our opinion. Wish us luck in this project. Baby Roos come in April. Aidan loving on his new babies.

For a limited time, SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHERS are available to Oconee County residents with a total household income between $40,000 and $67,000 annually. Thanks to the generosity of our friends at Arthrex, the vouchers will take $40 off the normal cost of surgery to spay or neuter your pet at our Oconee Humane Society Pet Care Clinic.
What do you need to do? Come to OHS to present your proof of income and pick up your voucher. The vouchers are first come, first served for the first 250 pets.

*You will be required to present proof that your pet is current on rabies vaccine at time of surgery. If you are not able to provide this proof, you will be required to pay for a rabies vaccination at the time of surgery.
