At Orchard Farmers Market, we believe local businesses build community—and community grows through kindness.

That’s why we’re launching the Happy Market Project.

Throughout the season, participating vendors and market managers will randomly gift shoppers with surprise acts of kindness we call Happy Carrots. A free drink. A loaf of bread. Fresh produce. A sweet treat. Whatever the surprise, it’s simply our way of sharing a little joy.

No contests. No requirements. Just genuine generosity from local businesses who care.

The first one is coming up soon on June 20th! If you’re a vendor and are interested in setting up with us for the outdoor market portion of this fun afternoon and evening event, please head to our website where you will find a vendor application.

We’re bringing together a curated mix of local makers, food, and community for four special events this year (in addition to our summer Sunday farmers markets also hosted at the Orchard Town Center):
