You don’t have to look too far to find a beautiful view in Vermont. Around here, places like this are tucked into towns and along back roads, sometimes right where you’d least expect them. This spot near our Weston store is one that makes us appreciate just how pretty our little corner of Vermont can be.

There’s a lot to love about September in Vermont. It’s that little stretch between summer and fall, when the season is just beginning to change and we know all that autumn color isn’t too far away.

Here at The Vermont Country Store, we’re ready for the season ahead and looking forward to welcoming visitors who make a trip to Vermont part of their autumn plans.

For 80 years, The Vermont Country Store catalog has been making its way to mailboxes near and far. It all started back in 1946, when our founder, Vrest Orton, printed the very first one on the press you see behind Eliot.

Today, we’re still printing and mailing catalogs, filled with familiar favorites and plenty to discover along the way. ❤️ If you haven’t received a catalog in a while but would like one, we’d be happy to send one your way!
