Hey guys, I’ve got a couple meat lugs that are 24 long x 16 wide and 9 inches deep. They have lids and are pretty heavy duty, we were able to quarter whole deer and fit them in these lugs and they stack really well. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get more. I’d like to have like 15-20 more of them but everything I find is either super expensive or not that big. Anyone know where to get more?

Here’s a small appreciation post—not only for the guys who gave up countless hours and time away from their loved ones to make sure everything ran smoothly during our busiest time—but also for all of you.

From the people who follow our page, to those who took a chance on us for the first time this year, to the hunters who came back from last season—you are what makes The Chop Shop work, not me. While I may keep the train on the tracks, I could never do it alone.

To my wife Casey Watch: thank you for always having my back, even when it means me crawling into bed well past midnight.

To Nina Gawronski, Mikey, and Pj Capria words can’t express how thankful I am to have you guys. The Chop Shop could never handle the volume of deer we do without you. Thank you for never saying no when I say, “Come on, let’s do one more.”

To the hunters who came in for the first time this year, I truly hope we exceeded your expectations, and I hope to see you again next season. To those who returned from last year, thank you for your loyalty and for spreading the word about us.

I can’t explain how cool it feels to be out in public wearing one of my shirts and have a complete stranger come up, introduce themselves, and say they follow our page—or that I processed a deer for their friend and did a great job, or they heard we do great work while talking to a guy at their hunting camp.

We will be excepting meat to make specialty items starting December 22nd as we just completed the last deer of the regular season today. We will be excepting meat for specialty items through January and will stop February 1st this date may change depending on volume of work). We will also be excepting deer for the holiday hunt.

Attention hunters!

For those of you looking to extend your season with muzzleloader or late bow, we’re still open and ready for drop-offs. We finished everything in the cooler last night, so any deer brought in during the late season can expect a quick turnaround (1–2 days).

We’re still a little behind on jerky orders, but we’re catching up quickly. We’ll also be open for the Holiday Hunt. Specialty items will be starting very soon as well, so if you’re hoping to have something special made, keep an eye on our page for updates.

We are at nine spoiled deer for the season, please guys just bring them in if you want it to hang a day tell me and I will tag it and let it hang. Please do not bring me deer you hung in your heated garage for a week. If we even doubt a deer we will not process it, and you will have to come back and pick it up.

We have been super busy thank you to everyone that has given us a shot for the first time and thank you to those who have returned we do our best to get your deer back to you as quickly as possible with the best quality. We are pretty much caught up at this point (with the exception of jerky orders) so if you have been considering giving us a shot there is no better time then right now our current turn around time is 1-2 days for regular cuts and sausage and about a week with jerky orders. Please call me rather than Facebook messenger as Facebook does not always notify me!

We will be open tomorrow for pick ups and drop offs only. No processing will be done. No one is obligated to come pick up tomorrow but if you would like to you are welcome to. All deer have been processed and are ready for pick up. Thank you to those of you who chose to give us a shot this season and an even bigger thank you to those of you who have returned from last year.
