!) Portillo 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina. nice fruit forward and a little cherry on the finish. and,
2)2014 Meridian Cabernet Sauvignon from California. a little mocha and dark red fruit,. very smooth and full-bodied.

February so far …

Today (10 Feb.) we’ve had a quick breather after some truly extraordinary rains. The radar shows another narrow band approaching and the forecast indicates a 60% chance of snow overnight before a several day period of sunny weather. Thus far in February we’ve received 9.36 inches of water, mostly as rain. More than three and a half inches of that came during the most recent three day period. The Chester Flood Control Channel is running briskly!

All that rain on top of our earlier snow has caused substantial melting and settling of the snowpack. The undisturbed, open sky snowpack depth has dropped a foot since the first of the month and is now at 20 inches on the west shore. But the pack is heavy due to all the rain and the current snow load is 42 pounds per square foot. There shouldn’t be any roof concerns at that load.

The snow has made it a beautiful Christmas week. it's cold and crisp, but warm on the inside. hope everyone enjoyed their Holidays.

Good Morning! it's 6am and snowing/raining at 4500 feet. there's about 2 inches at the store so if you're coming up for Christmas we should have a white one! Drive carefully, and remember when there is snow covering the road the speed limit is 35mph or less.

This is where we get our espresso beans for our machine in the coffee shop. in fact, i believe this is the same blend we use. Our beans are roasted and shipped each week per our order.

This is part two on Vaneli's. they actually do this almost every day. Our beans are ordered on Tuesday, then roasted on Wednesday, and shipped on Thursday. Attention to quality is what they do at Vaneli's.
