Wethersfield Farmers' Market

Wethersfield Farmers' Market Local Produce, Honey, Specialty Foods, Meats, Eggs, Bakers, Music, Food trucks and much more! This year we’ve added a local winery with weekly tastings.
(1)

Our market is open every Thursday afternoon, early June through mid-October, from 3-6pm on the lawn of the beautiful Solomon Welles House, 220 Hartford Ave in Wethersfield, CT. We are located next to the DMV, across from Mikey's Place Playground, and overlooks Cove Park and the Wethersfield Cove. Our Market Features
30+ vendors offering a variety of fresh, locally grown fruits & vegetables, herbs,

plants, flowers, baked goods, cheeses, dairy, honey, jams/jellies/relishes, Italian ice, syrups, natural soaps and skincare products, handmade crafts and other specialty items, as well as ready-to-eat food such as pizza, paella and a variety of food truck offerings such as Mexican and baked mini-donuts. From the beginning, the Wethersfield Farmers Market was meant to go beyond offering “Farm Fresh” produce to our community. We wanted the Market to support local businesses, musicians, and artists and to attract people from neighboring communities to see all that Wethersfield has to offer. It has become a focal point and destination event each Thursday in the summer where people can buy healthy food, shop, eat, bring their children and dogs, meet neighbors, enjoy music, and learn what events and good causes are being supported in town. We make a special effort to support and promote all worthy community events and undertakings. We also support many local non-profits. If you have a cause that you would like to feature on one of our markets, please click the link to our website at wfmarket.org where you can download all the necessary information and documents. Wethersfield Farmers' Market opening day is still 98 days away, but we've been hard at work putting together a wonderful lineup that we think you'll find delightful! We have quite a few new vendors joining many of your long-time favorites. Stop by our website (wfmarket.org) to check them out. Most of them have websites, Facebook or Instagram pages, and clicking on their logo will direct you there to learn more. May 28 will be here before you know it!

And if you subscribe to the Courant, it's voting time for the Best of Hartford contest, and we'd surely appreciate your vote. We're striving every year to earn it again!

We hope to see all of you very soon!

Here we are, the last week of the 2025 Market season. It'll be a good day, though, as Jill at Freestone Forge will again host Halloween Trick-or-Treat bag decorating! Youngsters are encouraged to show up in their costumes, and we'll have bowls of candy at many tables. And if your four-footed family members will be dressing up for Halloween, we'd love to see their disguises, too!

Also, Chet promises us that his Italian Ice will be joined by the pumpkin gelato that we wait for all year - Yum!

Stay tuned as the lineup will be posted tomorrow.

The Market is cancelled for today.

Heavy rain might hold off, but nobody wants to be caught in a downpour. Two more weeks left, and right now next Thursday looks very promising. Have a great week, and we hope to see you then!
