Founded by Charly and Will in Bozeman, Furrow and Fly’s mission is simple: “We craft English muffins that are unlike any other.” We couldn’t agree more! They have developed an irresistible, top-quality lineup. Our personal favorite here at The Farmers’ Stand is the Sourdough KAMUT (the story of KAMUT wheat is a fascinating one in its own right!). Other flavors you can find in the store include Cinnamon Raisin, Everything, and Rosemary. Side note: the packaging is compostable…. could it get any better?

Key to the Mountain
To take those muffins to the next level, we recommend pairing them with jams from Key to the Mountain of Missoula. Founded on wholesome, simple recipes, Key to the Mountain uses the highest-quality ingredients with no fillers or excessive sugar or water. Their products are concentrated and provide incredible flavor. As they say, “ From our kitchen to yours, we bring you the bounty of Montana.”

At The Farmers’ Stand, you can find a full offering of Key to the Mountain products ranging from Flathead Lake Cherry jam to Huckleberry Jalapeno jam, as well as pickles and Ener-GHEE.

Go All Out:
1. Toast your choice of Furrow and Fly English muffin.

2. Spread with creamy Amaltheia Goat Cheese (several flavors available in the store)

3. Top it off with your favorite Key to the Mountain Jam.

4. Alternatively: Top with a drizzle of Great Northern Honey and a sprinkle of pumpkin and h**p seeds.

Citrus Season is in full swing! In celebration of citrus season our amazing kitchen team has created grab and go items featuring citrus! This week’s highlight is lemon curd - that rich, smooth, custard-like spread. Enjoy!

The Farmers’ Stand is, and has always been, a platform for change in our community. The name itself was chosen because it is about farmers taking a stand for what we believe in. Rather than going along with a broken system, or trying to fix it, we chose to step outside the system and build something new from the ground up. There is always that choice. And, no, it isn’t an easy one.

We feel passionate about decentralizing our food system and supporting small growers and producers so that we can have a vibrant sustainable community and a healthy world to live in. We believe in small businesses who focus on community over profit. We also believe in the power of small voices united for change. If we are dissatisfied with current events, we have the power and agency to choose a different path. The greatest power we have is through where we choose to put our energy, our dollars and our hearts. Every dollar we spend affects the world around us. As does every word we speak.

This Friday, January 30th, we are joining a national effort to bring awareness to the choices we make every day and the power that lies within those choices — a power that lies WITH THE PEOPLE.
It is an opportunity to take a moment to step outside the system that supports all that we are seeing, and to choose a different system. A different way. One that cares for the people, for this community, for this country, and this planet.

The Farmers’ Stand will remain open so that we can continue to support our small producers but encourage our community to stand in solidarity, however you can. We will continue to use our dollars at the Farmers’ Stand to support ethical businesses that we believe in, because we believe in the power and impact of that choice.
