Today, we honor and celebrate the beautiful life of NaDonna Carol Noriss — the last of the Davenports to own our store, a woman whose kindness, generosity, and love for this community will never be forgotten.

NaDonna was more than a business owner. She was a friend, a listening ear, a helping hand, and a light to so many people. Her heart for others touched countless lives, and the impact she made continues to live on every single day.

On what would have been her birthday, we remember her smile, her strength, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. She truly was a precious jewel in our community, and we are forever grateful for the legacy of love she left behind.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, NaDonna.

This Memorial Day, Davenport Grocery sends love and gratitude to every member of the United States Armed Forces, including those serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and beyond ❤️

We also send prayers and support to all the military families with loved ones currently serving on active duty. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.

We request that you touch the hearts of those seeking you and striving to do your will. Guide those who may be misled, heal the sick and the shut-in, and remind us that you walk with us every step of the way. Grant small business owners more customers, desire, and strength to continue their endeavors. Fortify our faith, alleviate our doubts, and demonstrate your power to help us overcome adversity. We bring our burdens to the altar, trusting in your power to resolve them. We stand firm in our faith, trusting your perfect timing.
