The heat sure is doing a number on us. Since June 28th we have lost 6 hens. Today was my favorite. My sweet loving little pigeon. Sure does make egg farming difficult. It’s days like this that just make you want to pack it all up and quit. It’s so much work and a struggle to keep them alive with this ridiculous heat.

Rest in peace my pigeon girl! You will be missed.

We SOLD OUT for the second day in a row! We will be CLOSED tomorrow and Monday to stock up a little bit! With the heat the girls are laying less, and it’s happening to everyone 😭 we have lost 6 hens in a span of 2 weeks! Please pray for all of us chicken “tenders” and pray for all of our chickens as we struggle to combat the heat! Thankfully we let ours free roam (we lost ours while on vacation and not free roaming) this helps as they are able to find big shade trees and cool ground with water!

🚨‼️🚨we’re back!! Vacay was fun and we are refreshed! We are also STOCKED to the tippy top! We have 11 dozen + 1 six pack in The fridge now and a whole bunch more in the house waiting to go out! Come and grab em folks. Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th! 🇺🇸🎇🎆
