Golgotha MC

Golgotha MC Golgotha MC is devoted to spreading the Gospel, teaching and training disciples, and carrying out the Great Commission. "Honour all men. Love the brotherhood.

Golgotha Advocates is a Christian Motorcycle Club that celebrates it anniversary every April 27th, since it was this day in 2011 when we flew our colors for the first time; but the ministry started long before that. We are a group of like minded believers, dedicated to sharing the truth of the gospel, especially to the biker community. We focus on being Christ to our community, teaching and traini

ng new Christians to be real disciples for Christ, encouraging our brothers through real biblical brotherhood and accountability, and using any means necessary to carry out the Great Commission. "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen"
Matthew 28:19-20 KJV

Who we are:

"Golgotha" is the Hebrew word for "the place of the skull" which is the hill where Christ was Crucified. Many people, even most Christians are not familiar with the word "Golgotha" even though it is used in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and John to describe the place of Christ's crucifixion. Most people are much more familiar with the word "Calvary" even though it is only used once in the Bible, in Luke 23:33 to describe the same place. Our name "Golgotha Advocates" was chosen because it best describes who we are and what are ultimate purpose is; we are "advocates" of the story Christ's death, and the eternal life that his crucifixion can bring all of us through faith in him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV

What does our back patch mean:

The three skulls and three crosses on our back patch were chosen to signify the place of the skull "Golgotha" and the three crosses that were there that day. Christ's cross which we purposely made larger in the middle, and the crosses of the two thieves who were crucified on each side of him. "And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of the skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha." John 19:17 KJV

Our colors, Red and Grey, were both also selected for a reason. The Red was chosen to remind us of the blood that was shed on the cross that day to cover our sins. "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." Hebrews 9:22 KJV

The Grey was chosen to signify the "grey area" in which most Christians live their lives. They go to church on Sunday morning, but their daily lives seldom reflect a true relationship with Christ. Christ didn't save us to live in "the grey", there is no middle ground; he called us to stand apart, to be a separated people, to spread his Gospel, to be real disciples. God has no use for "lukewarm" Christians, it is time to light a fire! "I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Revelation 3:15-16 KJV

Our first chapter (hopefully the Lord blesses us with others in his time) we named "Sons of Thunder"; which was the nickname Christ gave to James and John in the gospel of Mark. He named them this because they were brawlers, they were men who struggled to turn the other cheek at times, who stood their ground, even when it meant a fight. Christ never rebuked them for this, in fact they are the only two disciples according to the Bible that Christ ever nicknamed. Golgotha Advocates MC is not an outlaw Motorcycle Club, we don't go looking for a fight; we do however know what we believe in, and we will stand our ground when it comes to defending our faith. "And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:"
Mark 3:17 KJV

We are not perfect men, just a group of sinners, who have been saved by God's Amazing grace. We love guns, motorcycles, and any opportunity to fellowship and tell others about what Christ has done in our lives. If you see one of us out there on the road, at an event or rally, or even at the local grocery store, feel free to walk on up and start a conversation, we love meeting other sinners and hearing about how God is working in their lives too. Fear God. Honour the king." I Peter 2:17 KJV
