I know I havenât updated my page in forever. With the start of my new career, my concentration needed to be elsewhere for the last year. Unfortunately my new work means most of my day sitting at a computer or traveling, (over)eating at restaurants. For me that turned into a 20 lb weight gain and pretty much a complete loss of my abs, and other body aches starting. I tried to start working out again during the plandemic, but wasnât really being consistent and couldnât find a workout I could stay motivated to do. I finally searched YouTube in desperation to find something that would bring out my spark again. I found a women named Chloe Ting. She is awesome! She has a ton of different workouts at all levels of difficulty and time. I canât emphasize enough that you find a workout you can do that works you, but doesnât Overwork you. This is so important in that you are less likely to give up. The other BIG thing I have done is change my eating habits. Letâs face it, Iâm not 25 anymore and my metabolism is not as good a friend as it used to be. đ¤ˇââď¸ Working at home all day, it is so easy to walk to the kitchen and snack all day long... and I was doing just that. Ugh. I also loved eating before bed. No... No... No! So I decided 3 weeks ago, enough is enough. I only eat a medium sized healthy breakfast, a lunch with a bit more freedom in portion, but staying healthy with low carbs and low sugar, and I drink my shakeology for supper... NO snack before bed. To help with my evening snack habit, I have my shakeology a bit later, say around 7 or 7:30pm, then I donât have that hunger issue at bedtime. So... doing all that, In the last three weeks I have lost just over 12 lbs with a goal of 9 more pounds, and I already feel so much healthier. My aches have subsided and I am feeling really good. Now... the point of me telling you all this, if ANYBODY is still reading, isnât for me to âbragâ about my success so far, but to motivate you, if your not feeling good about your body, if you are tired of all the annoying aches from nowhere, if you feel tired all the time, you can do this! Get off your t**h, look up Chloe Ting on YouTube, find her short 15 minute full body workout, and start feeling better about you. I promise with all my soul, it works. Afterthought... it can also really help with any stress you are feeling with all the craziness the media shoves down your throat every day. Shut off the news and turn on your body. I promise you wonât regret it, unless you donât do it. Peace out. Have a great day! đ
