Well sadly the day has come. 116 years is a heck of a run! We cannot begin to put into words how much we will miss our “Breen family”, not just the ones who share our name, the family we made at our stores. The family that walked through feet of snow to get here, the family that pushed carts in pouring rain, the family who worked double shifts without being asked, the family who would make sure just the right cut of meat was on everyone’s holiday plate, the family that made the best subs this world has seen, the family that worked during a pandemic without hesitation, but mostly the family we made that we went through everything with together. We shared it all, the good times laughing until our stomachs hurt, the shoulder to cry on in the worst times, and everything in between.
The beauty of friendship is that it can become something so precious, so close to a family that it’s the family you choose, not the one you're born into –
We will most definitely miss each and everyone of you and thank you for the countless memories.
