Come join our Market family! We have an open position for a Market Manager.
Sowing Growth is a nonprofit consisting of an eight-member Board of Directors that operates the newly rebranded Williamston Farm & Artisan Market. We are currently seeking a successor Market Manager with a starting date of mid-January 2026.
The Williamston Farm & Artisan Market (WFAM) is an outdoor seasonal market (mid-May to mid-October) that operates on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the McCormick Park parking lot in Williamston, MI. We offer full-season and daily vendor rates. 2025 was a banner year for the Market. One year ahead of schedule, we met our strategic plan goal of averaging 30+ vendors per market and 15,000 regular season visitors. We actually had over 16,000 visitors.
Historically, we have held one indoor holiday market in December; however, we will be hosting three indoor holiday markets in 2025, one in November and two in December.
We have access to a storage facility on the east side of McCormick Park for extra supplies, and a utility trailer that serves the dual function of a mobile office and storage for weekly Market equipment and supplies for our information/bank, children's, and music booths.
We are very proud of our Market. We care about our vendors and our customers and our volunteers and strive to create the feeling of a temporary “village” every Sunday that we come together.
