One of the oldest farmers' markets in Kentucky, the GCFM is a local market in that only produce grown and harvested in Grant County and the immediately adjacent/contiguous counties (Boone, Kenton, Pendleton, Harrison, Scott, Owen and Gallatin) can be sold at our Market. In addition to producing within the eight counties, prospective members must:
- sign and agree to follow our by-laws
- attend at
least one business meeting and
- pay the membership fee as of $75.
- produce should be at or above 75% of total sales
Our meetings are held the 4th Thursday January through May at 7:00 pm at the Grant County Extension Office; 105 Baton Rouge Road, Williamstown. Our locations are:
- Crittenden (From I-75, Exit 166; take KY 491 East to US 25, turn south on US 25 toward Crittenden; located on right, next to Whippy Dip.) OPENS 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Friday and Saturday DURING SEASON
- Dry Ridge/Williamstown (From I-75, Exit 156 Barnes Road. Turn east onto Barnes Road; turn north onto US 25; market is located on left.) OPENS 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Friday and Saturday DURING SEASON. (All days/times subject to weather and crop availability.)
