In the park through October, Willits Farmers Market is open every Thursday, 3 to 5:30 PM rain or shine. And this is harvest season and time to enjoy all those fresh veggies and fruit. Don’t miss out! There is local meat, too, from careful, dedicated farmers, prepared foods both hot and cold, and local crafts.

We honor EBT and WIC cards, have extra benefits for qualified seniors and WIC card holders. And I’ll change your credit or debt card into Market Bucks if you show up without cash.

Just in Miller Sharpening joins us for the first Thursday of the month. He is having a Labor Day Special on steak knives - ONLY $3 each. Bring in the whole set of six and get them done for less than $20.

Time to stock up on real food before the holiday binge. Or for the holiday binge. We have healthful local meat for the grill, summer veggies to go with it, salad makings, and lots more. There will be food to go or eat on the spot, cool drinks, and local crafts. And Scott’s Sharpening rejoins us this week, with a special on knives. Join us, 3 to 5:30 PM, in the park at Humboldt and State Streets. Please drive carefully — there are lots of children about — and park courteously.
