Hilltop Farms of Willow Spring in Wake County North Carolina is now taking members for our 2026 Spring CSA season! This will be our 27th year! If you are interested, please visit our website at www.hilltopfarms.org to sign-up on-line. The Spring season will start with our cool season crops on April 20th and run for 10 weeks, ending just before the 4th of July. A Summer season will follow that.
You can also find our Harvest Schedule on the website that shows you over 30 items that we grow and about when to expect their harvest. Its just about everything you can grow in this area during that time!

Our Certified Organic blueberries have had a great start this spring/summer and aren't done yet! So, I am opening the Farm stand here tomorrow, 6/28, and inviting all who want to come to Pic-Yer-Own! I'll have other veggies for sale too, featuring Sun Gold tomatoes, mixed potatoes and more!
I'll be open from 10 AM to 1 PM this Saturday!

Hey Folks! Hilltop Farms' CSA membership is just about full for the 10 week Spring Season that kicks off on April 21st! Our Monday pick-up option at the farm is now full but we still have plenty of room for more people at the Friday pick-up time, which is 4 to 6 PM each week. The first pick-up there will be April 25th. We have just a couple spots at the Triangle Wine Co. Cary drop-off site as well as Harmony Farms in north Raleigh and the Raleigh Wine Shop downtown. However, our Bombshell Beer Co pick-up site has ample room for new members as well as great beer!
So if you're interested please get in before we fill up!

Hilltop Farms will be at the Apex Farmers Market tomorrow morning, March 22. Market runs from 9 AM to Noon. Lots of other great vendors will be there, too! We'll have beets, cabbage, carrots, kale, spring onions and Murasaki and Covington sweet potatoes! Plus the biggest lettuce heads I've grown to date in the hydro house!

Hey Folks, Hilltop Farms will be at the Apex Farmers Market tomorrow morning, March 8.
Lots of fresh organic veggies on the table along with bottles and jars of Hilltop Honey from our local Wake County organic farm!
And of course our 5 varieties of Hydroponic lettuce so fresh it's still alive! Come see us and all the other great vendors! 9 am to noon downtown at the Depot.

Hey people! With a taste of spring coming this week, full of good weather, Hilltop Farms will open the farmstand to the public here on Wednesday afternoon, Feb 26 from 3 to 6 PM. We'll have 5 different varieties of hydroponic lettuce (red, green, bibb, oak leaf, summer crisp) and field grown non-organic sweet potatoes, certified organic beets, carrots, broccoli, turnips, pac choy, tatsoi, arugula and cabbage. Also our very own Hilltop Honey! Bring the kids and come see us! You know you need some Real Food!

Hilltop Farm's farmstand will be open tomorrow, Feb 8th, to the public and past and present CSA members from noon to 3 PM.
Come by and get some of our 6 varieties of hydroponic lettuce, red bibb, green bibb, red leaf, green leaf, red oakleaf and summer crisp!
Lettuce so fresh its still alive!
Also organic carrots, beets, broccoli, radishes, turnips, and arugula!
We're at 6612 Kennebec Rd in Willow Spring, NC. The farmstand is the repurposed 60 yr old to***co barn behind the house! Look for green tables loaded with veggies!

Here's a link to very interesting article on organic vs non-organic foods. Good insight on what certified organic growers go through and the difference between that and conventionally grown food. A very fair-based account. I copied from an email I got form the CEFS, (Center for Environmental Farming Systems). Hope I don 't get in trouble!

Hey Folks! I decided yesterday after seeing next week's forecast to open the farm stand here at the farm today, 1/18/25! I'll be selling our fresh picked organic veggies from noon to 3 pm with arugula, broccoli, cabbage, pac choy, tatsoi, turnips, sweet potatoes (non-organic) and several types of red and green bibb and leaf lettuce from our hydroponic greenhouse! We're located at 6612 Kennebec Rd, Willow Springs, NC. Come see us!
