Did you know that eating food grown within 100 miles of your home can significantly reduce your exposure to preservatives and increase the nutrient density of your meals?

The closer your food is to home, the fewer hands it passes through— and the more it supports both your health and your local economy.

That’s the heart behind the Brandywine Park Farmers Market. Your new weekly tradition rooted in wellness, community, and access.

We’re not just a place to pick up local produce; we’re a movement toward better health and a stronger Delaware.

🌿 Every Saturday from 9am-12pm
💵 Some of our vendors accept EBT/SNAP
🦮 Dogs, strollers, and kiddos are always welcome
🚙 Parking is always free
👟 Our women-only walk club meets just before the market at 8am (The SPREAD GOOD KARMA Foundation)

There’s just something different about The Brandywine Park Farmers Market. You can feel the shift in energy, intention, + the community connection. Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll leave feeling lighter.

This is what it looks like when a community chooses better—for our bodies, our neighbors, and our future. 💛

Every Saturday at Brandywine Park Farmers Market, we’re reminded how much it matters to show up.

For your health.
For your neighbors.
For local farms, small businesses, and the people growing + making the food we bring home.

Start your morning with the The SPREAD GOOD KARMA Foundation Women-Only Walk Club at 8AM — a welcoming way to move through the park, connect with other women, and begin the day surrounded by community.

The walk ends right at the market, where you can shop local, grab coffee, stock up on fresh food, and spend your morning in the park.

Showing up for yourself and showing up for your community can happen in the same place.

See you tomorrow!

There’s something different about filling your grocery bag where the birds are louder than the sounds of grocery cart traffic or the sunshine is brighter than the fluorescent-lit store.

Every Saturday, Brandywine Park becomes home to local growers, makers, bakers, and neighbors who believe food is about more than what ends up on your plate.

Choosing the farmers market means choosing to invest in the people behind your food. Every dollar spent with a local business has a greater chance of circulating right back into the community, helping support small businesses, local jobs, and the places we all call home.

And it’s good for you, too.

Research consistently shows that people who shop at farmers markets eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, enjoy less processed foods, and experience stronger community connections—all of which are associated with better long-term physical and mental health.

Your Saturday routine can be more than checking off a grocery list. It can be a morning spent outside, conversations with the people growing your food, and a simple way to care for both yourself and your community.

We’d love to see you there.

Why shop at your local farmers market?

For every dollar spent, farmers who sell directly to their community generate twice as much local economic activity as producers who don’t.

Farmers selling locally create 13 full-time jobs for every $1 million in revenue — compared to just 3 for those who don’t sell locally. And 89% of direct-market farmers buy their own supplies from local businesses — which means your dollar doesn’t just go to the vendor in front of you. It keeps circulating through the neighborhood.

But here’s what the statistics can’t measure: knowing the name of the person who grew your tomatoes. Your kids picking out their own peaches. Running into three neighbors before you’ve made it past the vendors right at the entrance.

That’s exactly what (and why) we’re building at Brandywine Park — a market where the economics and the community both point the same direction. Every Saturday, right in the park.

Come see for yourself.
