Drumroll, please… Our giant onion officially weighed 28.8 ounces (1.8 lbs) and we have two winners to celebrate!

🏆 Heather Askin had the closest overall guess with 2.3 pounds.

🏆 Regina O’Nan earned the title of closest without going over with her guess of 1.2 pounds.

There’s nothing better than celebrating the town we all love with good neighbors, local businesses, and a morning at the farmers market.

Starting at 8 am on Saturday, August 1, the Wilmore Farmers Market will celebrate Wilmore’s birthday!

The Mayor, Harold Rainwater, will be there to help kick off the festivities, and we’ll enjoy live music from some talented local young artists. A huge thank-you to Cakes by Bebe and Heidi Morris from Arm’s Baked Goods, for helping make the celebration a little sweeter with delicious birthday cupcakes!

We would love to celebrate with you. Come shop local, catch up with friends, grab a cupcake and help us wish our hometown a very happy birthday.
