We have a new location:

You'll be able to find us back on Main Street, as we'll be on the lawn at the Wilton United Methodist Church (600 Main Street), across the street from Franklin Savings Bank. We are so grateful for a new space close to downtown and can't wait to see everyone.

Our first market day will be Saturday, May 30th from 9am-1pm, rain or shine!

Happy Wednesday !

That's a wrap! We want to thank all of those who visited, supported and enjoyed the winter market this year! We are always delighted to see our regular customers, happy to catch up, chit chat, and swap recipes. And a big shoutout to all of the new faces and vendors we accumulated over these cold months! You have made this market that much more delish, diverse and fun to do! πŸ’š

With the summer market on the horizon, we're looking for more new faces and goodies to join our local spread! If you're looking to join the market or need more information about the process, please message us here on FB and one of us will be happy to answer any questions.

Here's what we're looking for this year:

🎨- Craft or Guest Vendors! This option is great for those looking for a less-rigorous schedule or a teen looking to make extra money over the summer.

🌱- Plants/Vegetable/Cut Flower Vendors! While a few of our marketers try to fill the gap with their copious amounts of garlic, corn and tomatoes, we're still missing out on great local produce. If you or a friend falls into this category and need customers, let's talk!

πŸ–- Meat Cut/Butcher Vendor! With our main source of meat cuts stepping back for family, we're looking for someone to fill that gap! Our current offerings tend to be more egg and chicken based, so anyone looking to sell more meat options, we have space for you!

πŸ₯ͺ- Prepared Foods/Food Truck Vendor! Who doesn't love a fresh sandwich or an excuse to go out for lunch? Let's bring the sandwich or lunch excuse to you! While we sometimes have soup in the winter and samples out during the summer, variety is the spice of life! So if you have a food truck or prep food business that you'd think would be a good fit, let us know!

πŸ₯—- Farms with Excess Product Vendor! In order to fill our produce gap, we want to start getting involved with established farmers who are looking to sell extra product, in exchange for a table spot in the market, promo in person and online, and your cut of whatever gets sold. The more local, the better!

We hope to have our new location for the summer decided soon, but until then, we'll see you in May!

Hello and happy Thursday !

Our last winter market of the season is coming up and we wanted to get you excited for it!

πŸ€A reminder, our last market will be Saturday, March 21st from 10-1pm, in the First Congregational Church of Wilton. And be sure to visit the Church Thrift Shop downstairs before or after your visit!

Along with our usual spread of local and tasty goods, we're also getting ready for spring planting, and we're sure you are too! We want to spread the love and offer resources for those unsure of where to start this spring or are looking for some more seeds to round out their planting. πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈπŸ

We'll be offering a brief workshop on how to use a plastic milk jug to create a self-contained germination station! This link is a great walkthrough for the process if you don't want to wait two weeks to get started. https://judyschickens.org/2021/01/13/milk-jug-gardening-judyschickens/

In the seed department, marketer Melanie with From The Earth Permaculture will have just about a bit of everything in her seed library. There will be an offering of herb, flower, vegetable seeds with a focus on hardy and native plants that do well in our rocky and chilly state of Maine~

If you're looking for a particular seed, drop a comment and one of us may be able to offer some extra. πŸ˜‡

See you soon!
