•KILL FLOOR & HARVEST SPECIALIST•
Location: 2033 South St. Road 119, Winamac, IN Business: Country Grown, LLC
We are growing fast and looking for a physically capable, reliable individual to join our production line. We are a high-standard shop, with that being said we expect efficiency & respect.
This is a high-intensity role for someone who is comfortable with the harvest process and heavy manual labor.
Requirements within position:
•Humanely harvesting beef and pork according to safety and sanitation standards.
•Skinning, gutting, and prepping carcasses for the cooler.
•Rigorous cleaning of the kill floor between animals and at the end of the shift.
•Must be comfortable in a harvest environment and capable of handling carcasses (heavy lifting)
•You will be on your feet all day, lifting 50-80+ lbs, and working in varying temperatures.
We have processing spots booked for beef and pork that depend on a full crew. If you aren’t here, the work doesn’t get done.
You must follow strict food safety and animal handling protocols.
