The last of our 2026 keeper doelings🥁🥁🥁:

Mirabel AR Jasmine 💜💜

Sire: Curly Goose TC Axl Rose
Dam: Mirabel RL Halle Berry

This girl is special in more ways than one. The daughter of our first real bottle raised goat and a true favorite on the farm: my heart goat Halle Berry. I wish I had a photo where Jasmine isn’t fighting me and posting (leaning back), but this girl has thoughts of her own haha. Halle’s line is one of our slower growing lines, so this girl is inevitably going to take time to blossom, but I love some of the pieces I’m seeing right now, even if she won’t let me capture them in a perfect photo right now.

And like the rest of the Axl kids, she is incredibly sweet and sociable. So excited about this entire kid crop and where we are headed from here.

The one, the only: McRiblet!

My March 4th birthday twin has been hefty since she got her giant, singleton self dragged out of her mother’s uterus (Tiffany was ok thank goodness) and hasn’t wasted a moment capitalizing on growing ever since. At not yet 6 months old, she is 55 lbs and has been on grass hay and VERY limited grain for over a month (aka the crumbs she nibbles up after her sisters have eaten). Safe to say she’ll be finding a date in October.

High five for our easy keepers 🤣🙌🙌

One of my personal favorites of the year:
Mirabel AR Vera (Axl x Gwendolyn)

I just can’t say enough about the Axl kids. Gorgeous bone and substance, smoothly blended, dairy skin, and just so good minded. Vera is the sweetest of all of the 2026 kids and just melts into you and has a soft eye and approach to life. We adore her and are excited for her future.

Well hello there little one! Our lastest born 2026 doeling currently in the keeper pen (late April), Briar is coming into her own. I think she is the nicest of the Cardinal (Bella Rossa Estate Cardinal) kids we got this year. I look forward to seeing how Cardinal contributes in the udder department when Briar is bred and kids in 2027.

I was also shocked that she was probably the best behaved kid for her first stacking practice 🤣

Mirabel C Crickett 🦗🦗🦗 (Cardinal x Olivia) went to her new home today. She was one of Ben’s favorites from this year so it stung a little extra, but we are happy that she has landed in a great new home and went with her three-quarter sister, Mirabel C Sonnet (Cardinal x Ivy).

Go be great girls!

Finally getting around to taking photos of some of this year’s keepers! These two are littermate sisters we had this year out of BeBe (Mirabel RL Bebe Rehxa) by Axl (Curly Goose TC Axl Rose)

I love the depth, strength and rump width I’m seeing on Feather (gold doe) and love the length, longer neck, longer bone pattern overall, and rear angulation on Dot (really cool colored Swiss doe with white and a giant Dot moonspot on her face). Both have incredibly dairy skin, nice feet and legs. Mostly for me though, I am really impressed with the front ends that Axl put on both these girls!

I’ve committed to lightening our work load in 2027 and not breeding our doelings this year, but it’s gonna be tough to wait until next fall to see the udders on these girls 🫣
