Old Town Makers Market

Old Town Makers Market If you want quality, people-driven business, this is the place to shop.

A market designed to build up and support local small businesses in the Old Town area of Winston-Salem, NC that sell products made from their hands, homes, and hearts.

Our final two reasons to come to the market, you could say, go together:

Reason 13: You want to be there.
Reason 14: We want you to be there.

It's simple, really. We dream of having "a village"--a "Hallmark" community, if you will--that we can lean on in hard times and celebrate with during good times. Ultimately, that's all we want at Old Town Makers Market, to build a village with anyone and everyone willing to build it with us and be villagers.

So come on out to see us TOMORROW! Bring your friends. Bring your family. Maybe even bring a list of items you want to buy from the vendors you've seen so far on our page! Either way, if you want to be a villager in our village, you are welcome!

Reason 12 to come to the market: location!

Whether you live in Winston-Salem, Rural Hall, Greensboro, Kernersville, Pfafftown, Clemmons, or anywhere else close to the Triad, you won't have very far to go!

Plus, we are a smaller market, so we are easy to navigate even when you are here.

We hope to see you Saturday! Be sure to invite all your friends from around the Triad!

Meet another Vendor!

Reynolds Ridge is a family owned farm in Walkertown. We use sustainable practices in everything we do as we seek to steward what the Lord has given us to feed and nurture our family, our community, and the communities around us. We raise hay, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, raw honey, and a variety of vegetable crops which we sell directly to consumers throughout the year.

This week at the Makers Market you’ll find some fresh greens, a selection of beef and pork cuts, raw honey, eggs, and more.

We can't wait for you to meet Reynolds Ridge this Saturday!

More reasons to come to the market this Saturday?! Of course!

Reason 9: We want to grow, and your attendance is a big part of that dream! Our goal has always been to support local small businesses and creators who want to build something for their themselves and/or their families! Our hearts are geared toward building a family-friendly, free-to-attend, and fun event for our small community, and your presence and reference to others helps us do just that.

Reason 10: We are a rain-or-shine event this Spring! Want an excuse to get outside in the sun? Come shop, play games, eat food, and even get your face painted by Fairy Dust Face Paint and when you're done, you could even head to the Old Town Park across the street! If it rains, we should be inside, so you still get to get out of the house and have some fun with us!

Reason 11: Because you're shopping in person, Amazon, Etsy, and all other online platforms are not getting their cut from our vendors and you don't have to pay any fees. You get to handle and see the items for yourself, a lost art of its own in this day and age!

We hope to see you, but all these things are better with friends, so be sure to invite them all!!

Meet another vendor (one of those awesome artists we told you about coming this Saturday)!

Hello! My name is Beth Campbell. I retired at the end of 2023 and started making my art in 2024 to keep my mind active. My art is made using drywall compound and acrylic paints. I enjoy creating unique pieces and get inspiration from nature, animals and my faith. For this market I will have pieces with flowers, birds, dogs, crosses, American flags, some baby designs and other miscellaneous designs. I look forward to seeing you at the Market!

Come see her awesome designs!

Need three more reasons to come to the Old Town Makers Market this Saturday?

Reason 6: If the suns out, so are our games! We will have yard games out to play with your friends or send your kiddos to play while you shop! A little fun for everyone.

Reason 7: We support small businesses. Most of our vendors are small businesses or farms who use their profit to support their families, and you coming to buy, share, and encourage them means the world!

Reason 8: We are also pushing to support more charities and non-profits! This year, we are starting local charity promotions so our shoppers can learn more about their community, how to support it, or even where to get help if a need arises for their own families!

We can't wait for you to play with, learn from, and meet some of our awesome folks this Saturday!

A few more reasons to come to our Market THIS SATURDAY!

Reason 3: We will have art of all kinds, whether it be crochet, jewelry, stationary, paintings, etc. You name it, we probably will have it!

Reason 4: We will have some PERFECT gifts for just about any "type" of mom! Sweet treats, bags, self-care, gardening supplies, flowers, and more. Find something special for the mother or mother figure in your life!

Reason 5: We also have some pretty amazing things for teachers! Teachers love gifts cards, don't get me wrong, but I know they will love home-made, home-grown, and from the heart even more! Show some teacher appreciation by buying something super special he or she wouldn't find at Walmart!

We can't wait for you to meet some of our creators!

Meet another vendor!

Hello! My name is Lauren Dolon, and I love to crochet! My mom taught me how, just like her mom taught her, and I’ve been crocheting for 20 years now. I love making baby blankets and sweet keepsakes. For this market, I’ll have book sleeves, face scrubbies, washcloths, and more! Can’t wait to see you at the market!!
