September is the start of so many things, but it also means the end of our flower basket season. As always, these baskets will come down prior to the end of the month. But we're sure going to enjoy them to the fullest for the next few weeks!

Thank you to every single donor, sponsor, volunteer, and cheerleader that made this such a successful season! We learned a lot along the way and are already planning for 2027!

🎶 Labor Day Weekend at the Madison County Farmers Market 🎶

Join us Saturday, September 5, from 8 AM to Noon on the Madison County Courthouse Lawn for a fun Labor Day weekend market morning!

We’ll have Eliana Grace bringing live music to the market while you shop local, grab your favorite finds, and enjoy downtown Winterset.

Inside the courthouse from 9 AM to 11 AM, kids can join in the Eye Spy Challenge, play the America 250 Trivia Game, and win prizes!

We’re collecting fresh fruits and vegetables from Tuesday, September 8 through Thursday, September 10. Donations can be dropped off at the Middle School or Administration Office.

🍎The Madison County Farmers Market season is still going strong! 🍎

Our market runs every Saturday through October 3 from 8 AM to Noon on the Madison County Courthouse Lawn.

The Madison County Farmers Market always runs until the weekend before the Covered Bridge Festival each year, so there is still plenty of time to shop local, stock up, and enjoy your Saturday mornings downtown. Live music & kid’s activities weekly!

Make plans to spend your Saturday morning downtown with us at the Madison County Farmers Market from 8 AM to Noon on the Madison County Courthouse Lawn.

This week, we’re excited to welcome Kelli Stoermer, children’s author, to the market. Stop by, say hello, and check out her books.

Liv McNair will also be singing at the market, bringing live music to your morning while you shop local.

Before or after you stroll the market, swing by the American Legion for the Kiwanis pancake breakfast and make it a full morning in Winterset.

Come shop your favorite vendors, grab something fresh, enjoy the music, support local, and spend your Saturday morning with the community.
