Hello everyone! While it is not fun to share the news that KS Sweet Corn is out of business and not returning this year, I have an announcement to make. Those of you who live in rural areas may be happy to hear that I am now offering my services as a custom applicator of herbicides for hay & livestock pastures as well as some other select small acreage specialty agricultural crops. Please follow and share the new business here on Facebook if this service may be of interest to you!

Hey everyone, I'll be making an announcement soon for something new in the works. I don't want to lead anyone on and make them think that corn is coming back this year but I'm happy to say that I have a new farm-related business offering a service that may apply to some of you! Stick around to hear about it when it's all ready to go. Thanks!

Hey everyone, as I'm sure you have noticed, the closed signs have been up for a few days and there's been no corn. I had originally planned on this weekend being the last weekend of the season, but the very last planting of corn didn't turn out good and I just decided to bypass it all together, so unfortunately the season has abruptly ended just like that. I'm disappointed in that outcome but I refused to sell anyone corn that didn't meet my standards of quality and freshness. I will not be growing or selling corn commercially next year, as I am farming other crops that are more profitable and don't involve a public outlet + the hassles that come with that type of market. I appreciate the support from my loyal customers and I'll miss you! Thank you all so much for the last two seasons!

There are some more things that need to be addressed.

The season will end mid-October. There are more fields of corn, it's not just the little patch by the stand in Hubbard. If the signs are up, the season is still going.

PLEASE stop peeling cobs of corn and leaving the husks on the tables, and please buy what you peel open. There are many that get peeled and left behind which have nothing wrong with them, but they end up going to waste because it looks unappealing to other customers when they are peeled open. This is really getting to be an issue this year.

After the end of the season, KS Sweet Corn will be out of business. Thank you to the loyal, honest customers who pay for the corn & watermelons, for your business the last 2 seasons.
