As the warm air moves in, we are excited to start growing again. Last season, we spent a lot of time working on some of the basic infrastructure, like the farmstand and the market garden. Over the winter, we constructed the Cottage Kitchen! These things took a good deal of effort and were time consuming enough that we couldn’t do much for the community in 2024. The community support and patronage we received for our limited opening season was an absolute blessing and we are so grateful to our community! It’s a struggle to keep going in the early stages of any project, and knowing our community is there gives us the motivation to keep going.
On that note, we are proud to announce the grand re-opening of our farmstand!
One of our goals this year is to grow a wider variety of produce, focusing on heirloom varieties. Keep an eye on our website and social media for a harvest calendar, so you’ll know when to expect produce to hit the stand throughout the 2025 season!
To better provide our community with the goods that they want, we are adding canned goods, common household products, and small crafts to the stand’s shelves this season. We have also expanded our bakery, focusing on next day orders, so you’ll always get the freshest possible bread, cookies, and more, exactly when you want it! Our new online bakery lets you decide exactly which product you want, in the quantity that you need, and guarantees that you pick up the freshest product possible.
At New Weird America, we aim to produce top quality organic food that goes straight from the ground to your pantry, while maintaining regenerative and sustainable agricultural practices. Historical data and modern agricultural research come together on the farm to create heirloom practices which help guarantee that our community will have access to the best food possible, grown in their neighborhood, hopefully for generations to come.
We are located at 2293 Eugene Reed Road, Woodbury TN, right by the corner of Eugene Reed and Lonnie Smith Road. Our same day bakery orders open on April 15th, with produce varieties popping up on the shelves the same day they’re harvested! Follow our website and social media platforms for those updates.
