I know, I know, it's not salad season, but hear me out: 1. TOMATOES, 2. You can bulk it up with some feta and warm falafel! And 3. I don't know about you but my body is always craving fresh vegetables like crazy by the end of January!

Also want to remind y'all that we accept HIP!

Anyone who receives SNAP benefits in the state of MA automatically has HIP benefits as well, which can only be used on fresh and lightly processed fruits and vegetables. These benefits do not roll over, and are replenished on the first of each month. Only participating farms/farm stands/farmers' markets can accept HIP, and we are one of the few open year round in this area!

Come on down and use up your HIP before Saturday and the start of the new month! And swipe right to see some HIP-eligible items we carry, beyond your basic fresh fruits and veggies!

Tis the season! We will be open limited hours for the next couple weeks, so come see us while we're here to stock up on your holiday needs. We just filled up our freezer with all the meats, including a good selection of lamb which we haven't had for a while! Free fridge is abundant with seasonal produce. And for you last minute shoppers, find some good gifts for the foodie in your life on our pantry shelves! We will see ya soon at 19 Sawyer Rd in Worthington!

Important info for those receiving SNAP benefits! HIP benefits will still be distributed as it is a state program, but you MUST have some SNAP balance to be able to use these benefits!

CORRECTION: Per DTA, you only need to have 1 PENNY left on your SNAP balance.

Have SNAP? You can still access your HIP benefits in November. HIP - Healthy Incentives Program, Pioneer Valley says just keep at least $1 in your SNAP balance and visit an approved HIP vendor https://www.buylocalfood.org/hip-map/.

Need to apply for SNAP? STILL keep applying. That way your application is in the queue. https://dtaconnect.eohhs.mass.gov/apply

If you are facing immediate need, you can also access food at the Easthampton Community Center and other resources through the Project Bread FoodSource Hotline at (800) 645-8333.
