Come see me tomorrow at the Wrightstown Farmers Market, Saturdays May-Thanksgiving 9AM-12PM from 9 am to noon at my stand for Red Cat Farm grains, flour, and herb and flower plants. Macungie Mountain Herb Farm will not be present this week at the Wrightstown market so I will be selling their dried herbal teas and honey for them.

I offer Red Cat Farm local, non-GMO organically grown grains and wheat. Flours include white whole wheat, whole wheat, and rye, plus whole wheat pancake mix, rolled oats, oat groats, wheatberries, and ryeberries. For inspiration check out recipes at my table.

I will also have Red Cat Farm herb plants grown using organic methods - including Ashwagandha, Bee balm, Black-eyed Susan, Calendula, Chamomile, Shasta Daisy, St. John’s wort, Anise hyssop, and Moldavian Dragonhead.

I made this simply delicious egg sandwich today! The egg sandwich was a perfect combination of fresh local ingredients that came from vendors at the Farm Market at Passer. The great artisan sourdough bread is from Backyard Microbakery and the wonderful organic eggs are from Macungie Mountain Herb Farm.

You know that you need very organic eggs (in brown, green and blue) from happy chickens.. and we have them! Still at $7 per dozen.

Last week, one of my customers (who is a doctor) asked me, “Do you have any of those eggs that come from chickens who eat better than I do?”

I sure do! Only organic feed for these happy chickens! Come taste the difference. Orange yolks. Whites that hang together (not watery.). This week at this Saturday from 9-12.
